A message of hope from Journey Bags founder, Debbie Stallings:

I was diagnosed with breast cancer on August 27th, 2007.

The day of my diagnosis was the day I became a SURVIVOR.

I am going to live life to the fullest, starting with helping others through their Journey. That's what inspired me to share Journey Bags with others. My sons gave me the gift of a Pink Ribbon Bag for my birthday, just weeks before my diagnosis, because they knew my love for pink and for the cause. I carried my Pink Ribbon Bag through all of my appointments, biopsy, and surgeries, through recovery, and even to this day. In my bag, I carried my soft pink blanket, appointment book, journal, water bottle, reading materials from my doctors, reading glasses, pill box and more. It was always there and ready for my Journey of the day.

As a SURVIVOR, I am here to share hope and to help other SURVIVORS’ journeys be more comfortable.
